James will be responsible for building on the firm’s focus on innovation while maintaining its commitment to transparency, accountability and superior client services.
With a breadth of experience in the financial industry, James brings over three decades of expertise in equities trading, capital markets, financial markets and electronic trading. Throughout his career, James has worked with a variety of clients across Canada and globally, building extensive relationships and industry connections.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Alberta and has held various leadership positions at global brokerage and financial services firms. He is also founder and president of The Bay Street Children’s Foundation, a foundation dedicated to raising funds for children in need.
